Major change is often described as a leap into the unknown. But most meaningful leaps are not made without preparation. They are supported by years of learning, observation, saving, relationship-building, and gradually becoming ready to accept a different future.
I have learned that courage is not the opposite of planning. Preparation does not remove uncertainty, but it makes uncertainty possible to carry.
There are moments when no amount of analysis can guarantee the outcome. Eventually, we must decide whether the possibility ahead matters enough to leave the certainty behind.
The decision may still feel frightening. That does not mean we are unprepared. Sometimes fear remains because the choice is important — not because the choice is wrong.
Courage is not moving without preparation. It is accepting that even the best preparation cannot remove every uncertainty.
