The body often communicates gradually. Energy declines. Sleep changes. Recovery becomes slower. Concentration becomes less stable. We notice the signals but continue because nothing feels serious enough to stop us.
Eventually, a quiet signal may become a condition that can no longer be ignored.
I have learned that discipline is not always pushing through discomfort. Sometimes discipline is paying attention early enough to adjust before the body must force the decision.
Awareness should not create anxiety about every change. It should create a more respectful relationship with the system that carries us through every responsibility we accept.
